The Spookiest Work-From-Home Buddy: Skeletons and Skulls For Your Halloween Decorating

Skeletons are a classic in Halloween decoration. You can dress them up, hang them, sit them at a table or on the porch, or even stage an elaborate scary scene with them.

Want to increase the fear factor? Dim the lights, or use colored lights and fog to add a dramatic and spooky effect!

Did you know that the adult human skeleton consists of 206 individual bones? These bones do more than provide structure and protect delicate internal organs. They also help with movement, store minerals, and produce blood cells.

If you're looking to get more creative, grab some individual bones instead.

Place the bones on the ground to look like a skeleton climbing out of a grave, or place a mix of bones lying in a big pile for a deadly scene where no life is spared!

Even with just a skull, you can do a lot to bring the Halloween spirit - use it as a planter, place treats in the open mouth, or ooze slime from it’s eye sockets!

Did you know? An adult human skull is made up of 22 bones; 8 cranial bones and 14 facial bones. They are all connected by synarthrosis (non-moving) joints except for the mandible.

If you're not the creative type, there are plenty of miniature skulls, skeletons, and oddities that add just the right amount of creepiness to your space.

It's SPOOK-tacular!
