The Geology of the Moon

In the late 1960s and 1970s, Apollo missions returned from the moon with geologic samples from the lunar surface for analysis. Some common lunar rocks types identified were basalts and breccias, with silicates and oxides being the most common minerals found in lunar rocks. hBAR has curated a collection of these same "earth-sourced" rock and mineral specimens for your own astrogeological interests.
