Immersion Oil enhances the resolving capability of microscopes with 100x immersion objectives. Applying to the cover glass effectively substitutes the air gap between the it and the immersion objective lens with a medium of high refractive index, thus minimizing light refraction. Comes in a dropper bottle with 0.25oz of immersion oil.
