This kit, designed for young learners, teaches about matter, the various forms it can take and the differences between them. This experiment kit allows learners to examine three different solids (sand, iron filings, and salt) to determine various similarities and differences in physical properties. Magnifiers, water, and magnets are included to aid in their exploration. Finally, using their previous observations, they will develop and execute a method to separate a mixture of the three solids.
